UL APPROVAL GAINED BY CLIFFORD & SNELL FOR ITS YODALARM RANGE OF AUDIBLE & VISUAL ALARMS London based Clifford & Snell has gained UL approval for its range of Industrial Horns and Visual Alarms – YO3, YO4/YL4, YO5/YL5, YO8/YL8, YO8 Super/YL8 Super, in addition to the Strobe Beacon type V4. The horns are cULus Listed for General Signalling Use (Non Fire Alarm) and conform to UL464 and CSA standard C22.2 No. 205-M1983 for indoor or outdoor use. The strobe beacons conform to UL1638 and CSA standard CAN/ULC – S526-M87 and are general-purpose visual signalling devices, designed for non-emergency signalling applications for either indoor or outdoor conditions. Designed as a 2-stage alarm with 32 selectable tones via DIL switch, with sound outputs ranging from 100dB (YO3) through to 120dB (YO8 Super). The units have an operational temperature range of –25dc to +55dc with a storage temperature extending from –40dc to +70dc, with operating voltages of 24vdc, 115vac and 230vac. All strobe and combination horn/strobe units are available with a choice of 6 lens colours in Red, Amber, Green, Blue, Opal and Clear, which are constructed of flame retardant polycarbonate plastic, mounted onto a red flame retardant base unit, secured by stainless steel fixings.
