UK based Clifford & Snell is a leading manufacturer of audible and visual alarm products and has announced the extension of its high-performance Yodalex range of  Ex d equipment to include 10 & 20 Joule Beacons, with ATEX / IECEx and GOST approval and UL pending.
 
As with the highly successful Yodalex Combination unit and individual Yodalex Sounder or Strobe, the 10 & 20 Joule beacons are ideal for applications in the Oil/Gas and Petro Chemical industries as well as specialist requirements within the process/control, industrial and refining industries, where ATEX Gas or Dust requirements have to be met.

The new 10 & 20 Joule beacons meet ATEX, and the Internationally-recognised IECEx Approval, along with GOST for Russian applications and North American UL approval pending. The award winning design of the Yodalex range features IP66 (NEMA 4X) protection, 8-lens colour options (including Magenta), dual gland entry points and a lens guard with mounting bracket as standard. 

The unique styling and performance of the Yodalex combination Sounder/ Strobe features a 5 Joule beacon, 32-selectable sound tones, an omni-directional high sound output, IIB & IIB+H2 Gas Groups, across a range of voltage options and Certification which meets European, North American, Russian and other International Approvals.
