CLIFFORD AND SNELL LAUNCH NEW AESTHETICALLY-DESIGNED FULLY INTEGRATED SOUNDER/STROBE COMBINATION UNIT

Clifford & Snell are pleased to announce the launch of our latest audible and visual alarm unit.

The highly elegant and aesthetically designed compact unit houses a fully integrated sounder/strobe combination for audible/visual applications within public sector buildings, office suites, schools, shopping centres, hospitals, hotels and airports.

Complying with BS5839 Pt 1:2000, the YL2 is continuously rated and features low power consumption, volume control as standard and a separate light, sound or combination function. In addition to sound selection via a DIL switch, the unit provides 32 selectable tones meeting a wide range of international regulations.

A parabolic reflector produces high intensity light output of 3J, and lens options include red, amber and clear polycarbonate plastic. The enclosure is a red/white non flame-retardant high-impact ABS plastic.

Operational temperature ranges from –25°C to +40°C with a light output of 40candela (effective). Voltage rating is 24Vd.c. +/- 20%, whilst minimum current consumption for the strobe is 60mA and for the sounder is 20mA. Total weight is just 0.25kg and the unit is rated at 100dB @ 1 metre.
